Ghosts I–IV

"Ghosts I-IV," released in 2008, is the sixth studio album by Nine Inch Nails. Frontman Trent Reznor describes the music as "a soundtrack for daydreams," with tracks void of names and lyrics and instead identified by track listings and group numbers. In addition to serving as a departure from the industrial rock band's normal sound, "Ghosts I-IV" is the first album by Nine Inch Nails that did not involve the production of Interscope Records. Those wishing to sample the unique sound of this album should check out tracks "28 Ghosts IV" and "34 Ghosts IV," widely considered by longtime fans as two of the best offerings.
