According to ZenWarp,
who claims to be the official East Cost release party
for the Queen of the Damned motion picture, Marilyn
Manson was said to be scheduled to judgea a Vampire
look-a-like contest tomorrow at a local goth club
in NYC. This is not true according to the official
Manson website.
MTV news and MTV2 are
said to also cover the event as well as TEAR Magazine,
Details Magazine, Time Out Magazine, German Vogue,
The Metro Source Channel and The "E" channel.
Admission is $10 with
Z.I.P. card before 11pm, $15 all night with printout,
$30 without anything. If you don't have a Z.I.P. card
you can obtain one for FREE at ZENWARP while supplies
last.
In other news, contrary
to what was said previously about the "Queen of the
Damned" deleted scenes featuring the new 'Redeemer'
tune with Jon Davis and Marilyn Manson, the deleated
scene is not actually Manson, but a Jonathan Davis
only version.
"Manson fills the spot
in the song on the soundtrack," commented 'HolywoodSvperStar',
"because of Jonathan Davis' contract which states
his voice is not allowed to appear on any cd that
isn't an epic records album."
According to Jaber,
it's because KoRn are soon to release a new album.
"Jonathan Davis originally sang on all five tracks,
but because KoRn is coming out with a record soon,
they didn't want QotD to take away from KoRn sales,
so they got 5 new people, including Manson, to re-sing
the songs for the soundtrack."
"This is how Davis interprets
Lestat not Manson...," continued HolywoodSvperStar.
"If you listen to the clip and listen to the Manson
version you can hear that Manson was only trying to
emulate Jon's vision of Lestat."
Fans can check out an
extended version of the previously mentioned clip
at this
address.
