The official
Kerrang website reports they caught up with Marilyn
Manson following his contribution to the 'Queen of
the Damned' soundtrack.
"Despite the 5.30 am photo
call and the fact that Manson had to appear 'au naturel'
(describing his look as 'ghetto vampire'), he spoke
openly to Kerrang.com about what to expect from his
contribution to the soundtrack, his wish for collaborations
with deceased R&B pop princess Aliyah ('I wish I could
have met her, we were supposed to collaborate on some
tracks together') and work on Marilyn Manson's new,
as yet untitled album," reports the media outlet.
'Queen Of the Damned'
is loosely based on Anne Rice's successful 'Vampire
Chronicles' which spawned the Hollywood blockbuster,
'Interview With A Vampire' (starring Tom Cruise and
Brad Pitt). 'Queen Of the Damned' follows the story
of Lestat as he rises from the Vampiric underworld
and attempts to be a rock star. Aliyah stars as Queen
Akasha, the queen mum of all vampiric ghouls.
Be sure to watch the
interview with Manson and expect to learn Manson's
album exclusively via the official Manson site very
soon.
Thanks a lot
