No New Manson Chapter in Paperback Autobiography
We reported on February 13th and 18th (read our "Extra Chapter in Manson Autobiography" and "Confirmed,
Extra Chapter in Manson's Paperback Autobiography" headline fore more info) that Barnes & Noble's catalogue
books read that the paperback edition, which is to hit the streets next month, was to contain an extra chapter:
Marilyn Manson's autobiography The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell, with Neil Strauss:
Shocking, candid, and finally in paperback -- the 150,000-copy, national bestselling
autobiography of America's most controversial celebrity icon, rocker Marilyn Manson (with a bonus chapter
not in the hardcover). "By turns moving, funny, appalling, disturbing.... There has never been anything like it." --- Rolling Stone

Sadly Rollingstone posted new word about the paperback edition and
explained because of scheduling conflicts the extra chapter never made it in the books on time. Here's their report:
Marilyn Manson and his co-author, Neil Strauss, promised Harper Collins an extra chapter in the paperback version
of Manson's autobiography, Long Hard Road Out Of Hell, due out next month, but they never delivered, crying scheduling conflicts.
Thanks a lot to: roger.
Manson's "Rock Is Dead" Video Will Air Before "Coma White"
We mentioned on February 20th (read our "Fan Details About MTV's Marilyn Manson FANatic" headline for more info)
that the Marilyn Manson fan who won the chance to see Manson on MTV's FANatic, best friend contacted us and explained that
during the interview Manson mentioned that they were filming Rock Is Dead and Coma White at the same time.
On February 21st (read our "Rock Is Dead As the Next Single Says Manson" headline) Marilyn Manson posted on
his official BBS chat site, "Rock Is Dead will actually be the next single, coma white will follow".
I talked Manson's management this evening and they explained to us that it is true, Rock Is Dead was filmed the same
time Coma White was and that Rock Is Dead will be the next single. The remake of the Kennedy Assassination will be featured
in the Coma White video not on the Rock Is Dead video.
As we mentioned before, Monday we'll have 45 minutes of behind the scene footage of the making of the Coma White video which was shot by an SLS viewer.
Tomorrow I shall be receiving some more pictures that were taken on the set of Coma White last weekend by another SLS
viewer. One of the pictures includes a shot of Pogo and Twiggy in the front seat along with Rose and Manson in the back
seat of the Cadillac convertible. (read our February 22nd "Coma White Video Details" headline fore more information)
But for right now, please take a look at the all ready uploaded scanned pictures that were taken on the set of Coma White on
our Marilyn Manson website here.

Plaid Interview
These articles come from a 'York magazine' called FAQT: Electronic Culture (www.faqt.net).
The magazine features a large interview with Plaid also featuring a mini review of their album Not for Threes.
PLAID
Not for Threes
(Nothing/Warp Records)
What's up with Nothing Records? They are puttin' out the tunes these
days. This CD gets my vote as one of the best CDs this year. Lush
hypnotic textures pulsate and twirl throughout. Every time I listen to it I
hear something new. A few Orbital influences but Plaid manages to
reshape and mold them into their own sound. Mixing up some trip hop,
ambient, world music influences along with a few other touches, this CD
floats along like a nice surreal day. They even managed to snag Bjork
for a track that was probably screaming her name to begin with. I love
every song here and that's a rarity in these days where filer tracks are
rearing their ugly head much too often. Buy this CD. You won't be
dissapointed. If you are, you are TASTEFREE!!! I can't say enough good
things about "Not For Threes" so I'll shut up before it gets stupid - Dj
Mantra

New Squarepusher: Budakhan Microphone
The new Squarepusher EP, Budakhan Microphone, will be out this March on
nothing/Warp, and promo copies have already reached some media outlets. Mark explains, "it's really damn good. it's jazzy like Music is Rotted One Note, but more song-oriented. great stuff."
Here's the tracklisting:
Squarepusher - Budakhan Microphone INTD-90312
1. Iambic 5 Poetry
2. Fly Street
3. The Tide
4. Splask
5. Two Bass Hit (Dub)
6. Varkatope
7. Gong Acid
also, the new Aphex Twin video, Window Licker, is out in stores (it's not
on nothing, but i figure it's relevant since Aphex Twin contributed two
tracks to Further Down The Spiral). the tape includes only the video for
the song Window Licker, but the video itself is around 8 mins long and is
pretty inexpensive. Mark got his copy for a mere $4. Marks explains, "video itself is not
as groundbreaking as Come to Daddy, but it's funny as hell and definitely worth checking out."
Thanks a lot to: mark.
The Beautiful People Covered by Lester Bowie Brass Fantasy
Mark also recently aquired a CD called Odysset of Funk & Popular Music and it's by the Lester Bowie Brass Fantasy.
The CD carries covers of popular songs by artists like Madonna, Spice Girls, etc. What's pretty surprising is that
there's a cover of Manson's 'The Beautiful People' on it. Which Mark adds, "and it's pretty damn groovy!."
Mark explains that, "it's basically a brass band with some live instrumentation and the songs have a real jazz/funk
feel to them. the TBP cover is a good 7 minutes long and
starts with a wierd ambient intro thing, when it kicks into the melody."
When Mark gets the CD back on the shelves we'll get some scans and an mp3 of it for you all.
Thanks a lot to: mark.
