Cecil B. Demented Soundtrack Tracklisting

Earlier this year, it was announced that Jerome Dillon, the Nine Inch Nails tour drummer, contributed a song to the upcoming film "Cecil B. Demented" by director John Waters.

Jerome played all instruments on the song, which was co-written by Zoe Poledouris (who also composed the film's score with her father, Basil Poledouris). On the right is a small scan of the soundtrack cover.

"Cecil B. Demented" stars Melanie Griffith and Stephen Dorff and should hit theaters this summer. The film is the story of a crazy independent film director and his renegade group of teenage filmmakers who kidnap an A-list Hollywood actress and force her to star in their underground film.

Below is the track listing:

1. Opening Credit Theme - Moby
2. Nice Tranquil Thumb In Mouth - The Locust
3. Upstart - Meatjack
4. Bankable Bitch - DJ Class & Teflon The Bull
5. Everyday - Substance D
6. No Budget - DJ Class & Mayo
7. Extra Piece Of Dead Meat, An - The Locust
8. Demented Forever - Karen McMillan
9. Cia - Liberace
10. Chow - Jerome Dillon/Zoe Poledouris
In related news, check out this interview with Paul Fischer, which he sat down with John Waters and Alicia Witt ("Urban Legend", "Ally McBeal") to discuss the movie opening nationally in the US on August 11th. The interview is found on DarkHorizons.com.

The Atlanta Journal Claimed Manson To Make An Appearance

The Atlanta Journal - Constitution, in the Living section, reported that someone started a rumor that Marilyn Manson would make an appearance at a church in Smyrna, GA to protest the church's stand against heavy metal music.

Below is the article found in the newspaper:

SUNDAY BLOODY SUNDAY

If your thinking about going to church on Sunday in Smyrna hoping to see Marilyn Manson forget about it. Despite reports to the contrary, the shock rocker won't be at International Gospel Outreach Church this weekend. Faxes and e-mails sent to the media saying the act would show up to protest the church's stand against heavy metal music have turned up to be bogus. A rep said Manson had no plans to attend.

Smyrna Deputy Police Cheif Mike Brown told us that the claims are a hoax started by a Cobb County Resident. But Brown said police will have a few extra officers at the Windy Hill Road Church Sunday morning just in case a crowd shows up.

The Rev. at the church also went on to say any multi-pierced manson fans are welcome to stay for the service.

Thanks a lot to: Ben.

Chris Vrenna To Score Alice Computer Game

According to the online gaming magazine DailyRadar.com, Chris Vrenna, the former Nine Inch Nails drummer, has been asked to score the upcoming PC game, American McGee's "Alice" by Electronic Arts.

Below is the blurb from the official site:

Chris Vrenna will compose music for American McGee's Alice, a title in development from Electronic Arts. Vrenna performed in the original incarnation of Nine Inch Nails, and has since worked with a number of alternative acts including Smashing Pumpkins, Hole and Marilyn Manson. The game will be released for PC this fall. The game will include a separate CD of Vrenna's music, when it ships.

The music for Alice reflects much of the game's nature: dark, edgy and slightly disturbed. Vrenna has combined "traditional" industrial tools (lots of keyboards, drum loops and the like) with samples of toy instruments. This MP3 file we have is obviously influenced by his work with Nine Inch Nails, with a toy piano loop running throughout.

Created by renowned level designer American McGee-his impressive list of credits includes levels design for Doom II and the Quake series. Alice is equipped with courage, a keen appetite for the bizarre, and a lethal array of transmogrified toys. She'll penetrate the strongholds of her enemies, confront the forces of evil, and put the wicked Queen of Hearts in her place to make this game a sadistic twist to the original Alice In Wonderland.

For more information on the game, visit the official Alice website and also a mp3 from the game that you can download by Vrenna or for more info on Vrenna, check Waxploitation. EA will also be posting a few more MP3s of "Alice" music on its website in the future. The site also mentioned that Vrenna's debut album "Tweaker" will be released this fall. Good stuff...

Eminem Video F/ Marilyn Manson Debut Today

Just to confirm, the new Eminem video, 'The Way I Am,' which features a cameo of Marilyn Manson, will debut today on MTV's Total Request Live at 3PM. It'll break the daily countdown between the third and the first video most likely. Thanks a lot to: Cristen,

Marilyn Manson Webcast Soon!

Marilyn Manson posted on his official message board recently and mentioned there is to be a web broadcast soon, and songs off the new album will become available via the official site! Manson also corrected a few errors the new Rollingstone interview said about him in the August 2000 issue.

To clarify some small errors in the RS article, "THE THREE FACES OF MARILYN MANSON," I would like to point out---

Dave Sardy is not Dave Sardi.

My albums are a triptych not a tryptic.

ACSS is not my first record and MA was as successful if not more than its predecessor.

I do not own a wolf head. I believe he saw my baboon head, that could be mistaken for a wolf in semi-darkness.

And to any confused fans, I did not say MA was a sellout or a record that I dislike. I was merely explaining its significance in my trilogy.

Thanks a lot to: Organgrinder15.

Random Nothing News

Featured in the latest SPIN magazine, with Eminem on the cover, is a brief mention of Trent Reznor by Greg Eklund of Everclear about ukulele usage in records lately:

"There's a huge ukulele resurgence going on right now," Eklund says with unseemly passion. Alexakis chokes on an olive, and Montoya giggle uncontrollably. He points out that Eddie Vedder plays uke on the new Pearl Jam album, and somebody else claims Trent Reznor played it on his last record.

Thanks to: nivek9991.

Marilyn Manson was featured on ABC's television show entitled 'You can't say that!' The segment which Manson's "tourniquet" video was featured was about Christians protesting, Kevin Smith's film Dogma.

New Marilyn Manson Interview Transcribed

The webmaster of an unofficial Marilyn Manson website, Kill God, transcribed and submitted the latest issue of Rollingstone, featuring the short Manson interview about his forthcoming album "Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)." Manson told Rollingstone that returning to his old sound was a way to reconnect with "what a fan of Marilyn Manson wants."

Below is an excerpt from the interview about what the album is about:

Manson explains that this album is not a piece unto itself but the glue binding its two predecessors, 1996's Antichrist Superstar and 1998's Mechanical Animals, into what Manson describes as a semiautobiographical "triptych," with an accompanying novel in the works as well. "This story can be interpreted on a number of levels, but one of the simplest ways," he says, "is about a boy who wants to become part of the world that he doesn't feel adequate for, and the bitterness and rage becomes a revolution inside him, and what happens is that the revolution becomes just another product.

"When he realizes it's too late," Manson continues, "his only choice is to destroy the thing he has created, which is himself."

Click here for the entire interview, which Manson describes more about the themes of the album cycles.

Thanks a lot also to: cindy simpson and dredddawgg for transcribing the interview too!!

Alan Moulder Interview In Sound on Sound Magazine Online

Last April, we mentioned there was a new interview with Alan Moulder, who helped record and mix The Fragile, found in the May issue of the British "Hi-Tech Music Recording Magazine" Sound on Sound. (Please read our April 20th headline "Alan Moulder Interview In Sound on Sound Magazine" for more info.) Although the official site offered the interview for members only, the Alan Moulder interview is now available online for the general public.

Below is a blurb from the interview:

For all that Reznor and Moulder pushed the boat out on the sonic front on The Fragile, however, perhaps the greatest challenge came from a song called 'We're In This Together' which they were worried sounded too conventional. A lot of time and energy were wasted trying to make it something that it innately wasn't; to make it 'gratuitously unusual', as Moulder describes it, where all of the other songs were naturally unusual. "That's probably because we all had our heads up our arses," he says. "We were maybe waving the art banner a bit too far, but at least we did eventually realise that we were in danger of killing it. That was an interesting lesson - it is what it is and it's good, so don't try to ruin that."

Thanks a lot to: david.

Line 6 Magazine Mentons Nine Inch Nails

The Spring 2000 (Vol.1 No.1) of Line 6's Studio2Stage magazine mentions a bit about Nine Inch Nails and their rigs. Page one has this to say:

On the Nine Inch Nails tour supporting their latest release, The Fragile, Trent Reznor's entire guitar rig is two PODs, Layered to produce the guitar tones created on the recording with Amp Farm, AX2 and POD. To those who questioned Trent's ability to equal the success of The Downward Spiral in '94, the critics said, "Reznor hasn't met the challenge so much as exploded it with a grandly ambitious 23-song, two-disc set." The Fragile debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts.
Along with the blurb, is a photo of 'The Day the World Went Away' single, which Trent singed, "Line 6 - Thanks for adding to my arsenal! Trent Reznor."

There is another blurb on page 3, which says, "And see how Trent Reznor's brought his studio-crafted sounds on stage with a double-POD rig that hooks into the touring sound system to deliver album tracks with a stadium-worth of power."

Then there is a diagram titled "Guitar Signal Path used on Nine Inch Nails' 1999 European Tour (supplied by Guitar Tech Buddy Blaze)."

Thanks a lot to: Dustin Sinkey.

Long Hard Road Out Of Hell German Translation

As of now, the dates are slated for October 6th [Requiem] and January 12th, 2001 [Knockaroud] respectively.

Werchter Interview Transcript & Report NIN Performance 31st on Werchter / Belgium

In a televison special about last month's Werchter Festival, Trent Reznor was interviewed for a show called "Plankenkoort," which aired over the weekend. Mina, who stumbled upon the program, transcribed the entire interview. Tom Cornille, who also caught the program, noted they aired live performance clips "Closer," "Starfuckers," "The Wretched" and "Hurt". In between the clips was a short interview, which you can read here thanks again to Mina.

R: What happens when you're on stage? 'Cause when I'm watching you I see this band you know, and it's kind of scaring me...So where are you when you're on stage?

TR: I can be relatively collected and calm before shows but when it starts, something...I got taken back to the place I was when I wrote the music, and it's not always a place I want to visit. And I think after the tour I'm gonna lay down for months and balance myself out 'cause I got so negative energy out; but visiting places that are uglier, mean or oppressive or angry...something just starts getting over. You know, a lot of times, you don't feel like doing the show necessarily, you're sick or the schedules are kind of shitty, and when you're on stage something's taking over. I felt good tonight about that.

R: That would mean sometimes you got scared by your own music, did I get that right?

TR: Yes, it flows you back to...But I can't say I haven't come back to the place I was in my head when I wrote, whatever song it is. Those are usually not...It's not poppy cover fields, you know, pretty girl on your side (smiling). It's usually some tormented area.

Tom will be submitting some video stills from the shoot as well with his digital camera. Stay tuned for that soon.

Fred Durst Comments about New Lyrics; Mentions Trent Reznor

Everyone's favorite hate-object Limp Bizshit was interviewed recently on MTV In Touch (Germany). Needless to say Trent was mentioned. The VJ apparently heard 3 new songs from their next record due for release in September and started quoting lyrics such as, 'stop talking bullshit about me', 'this world is too small" and 'why can't we get along.' "Those quotes might not be 100% correct," said Sabrina, who caught the interview, "but it's pretty close." Fred said those lyrics were about people who kept putting him down for no reason. He mentioned Trent badmouthing him constantly in the press and Mr. Durst has no idea why, about he wishes it would stop (while trying to look upset). "Reznor was the only one mentioned by name," Sabrina said. "Anyone feeling slightly masochistic can watch the rerun on Sunday 15:00 CET."

On a side-note, MTV Germany will be re-airing the Celebrity Deathmatch segment with Trent vs. Puff Daddy on Saturday 23:30 CET.

Charlie Clouser's Posts on TRF's Discussion Board

Morpheus TechnoPagan, the webmaster of The Remix Files, wrote us today to let everyone know that Charlie dropped a few lines yesterday on Morpheus's discussion board.

Charlie's new message is available here, which he explained that he's resting comfortably and visiting his parents in Vermont. He confirmed that he will be working more on the Tapeworm album and on Page Hamilton's (ex- Helmet / Ex- D. Bowie band) upcoming solo album, as soon as he arrives back in New Orleans. "A sweaty summer of studio work," as Charlie describes it!

Charlie posted another message last week here to thank all the fans who wished him happy birthday via The Remix Files' board.

"All NIN fans are welcome to use the discussion board to discuss about Charlie's remixes, collaborations, etc...," said Morpheus, "and eventually to ask him some questions. Charlie visits the board regularly."

DoomWorld Offers An Opinionated Discussion About Who Should Score DOOM3

Although Trent hasn't officially agreed to score DOOM3, the discussion whether or not Trent should take the challenge is up and the majority rule that Trent is the man for the job. While many of you, such as myself, feel that this is a project that Trent readily deserves to take, DoomWorld.com offers an incite about what the fans feel about the whole 'alterna-rock' scene in role play gaming and comment that Richard D. James of Aphex Twin can pull it off just as well!

Below is a comment from Mattrim Dixon:

The soundtrack for DOOM3 should inspire terror and serve to compliment the visuals, not detract from the game and make the player think that he left the radio on, tuned to some piss-poor station. I want a soundtrack that will pull me into the game, not distract me from it. Audio and visual must work together.
Check out the six page informal interview voiced from the fans of the 'gaming' community, as well as of prominent ex-members of the DOOM community who now operate within the gaming industry, in regards to id Software's recent 'DOOM3' announcement.

Thanks a lot to: Cory.

An Addition to Fred Durst's Mouthing Off Trent @ K-Rock

In one ear, out the other is what most people do these days when Limp Dickshit talks about their influences or friends these days. But just as one can't shut up, you have a musician that just doesn't know when to end the mouthful craze...

Lolita Haze, caught a blast from K-Rock the other day and happened to hear some live performances from the 'Dysfunctional Family Picnic' concert at the PNC Art Center on June 27th. Such featured bands were Creed and the Deftones. The playlist included a short set of Limp Dickshit (also a featured band) during which he yells, "Trent Reznor, suck my dick!" before launching into "Break Stuff". It's been reported that Durst was also sissy-bitched about Creed performing after him and that it wasn't dark enough for his set, thus refusing to come out of his dressing room and finally only when he was 'finished with his dinner'. Now you wonder why you're the world's most hated band? K-Rock has more details on the so-called "controversy."

Tamio, read in her local newspaper a few weeks back, that during the Quart festival, Trent Reznor decided to stay on an extra day, apparently this was kind of unusual (or so it said). Daily SLS News Updates Slow, Yet Consistent For Two Weeks

During the course of the next ten days, I will be taking a much needed break from the so-called 'real world' as many call it these days, but I'll do my best to keep the daily headlines flowing as much as possible. I've put nearly three years of information, not to mention the 3 to 4 hours of work, each day into SeemsLikeSalvation Nothing News single handedly and I'm only twenty years old. Over the course of these years, there has been the occasional slip in the 'daily' updates each month... (Every person needs their fun, you know?) and since then... I've been stuck in the "State For Lovers," Virginia for those who don't know, and have yet to take pleasure in any those things people call vacations every summer.

Anyhow, earlier this year I've purchased myself a Macintosh PowerBook G3 (requires QuickTime), which now allows me to update from the road, at work... or anywhere else I'm able to choose. I've made SLS News an actual around the clock necessity in my life with school, work, relationships and school again over my shoulder believe it or not, and although I'm getting the chance to leave home to see the West Coast/California for the first time in my life. Just as I mentioned before, I'll do my best to keep the news flowing as usual while spending my vacation in Los Angeles among other places. I'm getting the opportunity of a lifetime to hook up with some of the nicest and coolest friends I've made via SLS News and I just want to say THANK YOU! to all those who have supported us from the beginning and put up with my not so perfect spelling, run on sentences and the "occasional grammar error".... yeah right. =)

Time to get packing...

APC Hollow Single Features Danny Lohner's Remix of Judith, Information Regarding the Remix of Judith & The New NIN EP

Ben, who lives in Australia this summer, went down to his local record store where a Perfect Circle is going to be doing an in store on Saturday and couldn't help but notice the new Hollow single (which is probably going to be the US as an Australian import).

The flyers for the in store said that it was to be released on the July 24th (in Australia), but they are currently preselling the single. "Anyway," Ben added, "the point is that Danny Lohner Remix is on the disc as well as a live version of Hollow from the phoenix show on June 4th. It is pretty good." He said, "It sounds like the only thing that Danny took from the original track was Maynard's voice and the rest was Danny." His electronica expert friend, Jason, is in Sydney with him and he describes the remix as, "electro drum and bass with a very dramatic feel and some string samples."

The store that is selling it is Utopia in Sydney if anyone is interested and the entire band is going to be appearing there for an in store at 3:00pm on Saturday.

In related news, Joshua Eustis, from the band Telefon Tel Aviv, contacted The NIN Hotline with additional information regarding Danny Lohner's remix of "Judith".

He stated that while NIN was in Miami, he and Danny collaborated on the project. The remix was then finished at Nothing Studios and Benelli Design Labs in New Orleans. Joshua thinks there is a good possibility that more of his work will also appear on the upcoming NIN EP. Hop on over to our friends website, The NIN Hotline and learn more about the remixes of "Even Deeper," "The Frail" and "Where Is Everybody" for the upcoming NIN EP.

We will have the information you need early tomorrow about how to order a Perfect Circle's single "Hollow" featuring Danny Lohner's remix of "Judith." Stay tuned...

Photographer Steve Jennings To Hold A Live Photo Gallery F/ Shots of Trent, Manson & More

Photographer Steve Jennings who has shot everyone from NIN to Manson to Filter to The Cure is finally having a show in Palo Alto at the Modernbook Gallery. He shot the NIN tour for Mix Mag and he has some photo credits in Manson's Live Album. And actually, we've been informed that Trent is buying some photos from him of the San Francisco show for future promotional use. It's all live concert shots and Steve is big fan of NIN, Bauhaus, DM, and so on. It should be really cool. The opening reception is July 21st, at 8pm and it's free (drinks and refreshments too). Unfortunately, this is really only of worth to people living in the SF/Bay area.

Trent Talks to Kerrang! About Lost Weekend Cancelation, The New Albums & DVD

Those who attended the Lost Weekend festival last week and were dissapointed that Nine Inch Nails had pulled out because of Jerome Dillon's illness, listen up! Trent Reznor phoned Kerrang! magazine and responded to Kerrang's angered fan mail and answer some questions about NIN's upcoming live album, the Fragility DVD and some words about the unreleased Fragile tracks. Thanks as always to Mr Pogo you can read all about it here.

Below is a snippet about the DVD and the live album:

NIN have been recording a live album and DVD on their 'Fragility V2.0' tour. "We'll work on the album for a month back in the US" says Reznor.

The DVD, Reznor insists, will "make you feel as though you're there. We hired a bunch of digital video cameras and filmed the last 15 shows of the tour from seven positions and recorded the audio in a DIY fashion. It''s not like an HBO special with Bon Jovi with swooping crane shots. We're compiling it on Apple Macs."

Reznor also reveals that the next NIN studio album might be a radical departure for the band. "We did a radio show where we stripped down the sound," he explains, "I played a grand piano and Robin played accoustic guitar. We were so pleased with the way it turned out we may go into the studio and record that way. I haven't talked to anybody about this - it may or may not happen."

Brian Molko of Placebo Talks About Marilyn Manson

Featured also in the same Kerrang! issue, Brian Molko of Placebo talks about Marilyn Manson:

When asked if his band managed to fulfill their largely trumpeted desire to 'calm down' while on the road, he cackles loudly. "What do you think? It's impossible not to go crazy on the road. We did a lot of gig's with Satan and they were quite mad."

Hang on a minute, who's Satan?

"Oh, that's our nickname for Marilyn Manson" he grins, clearly pleased as punch with his cheeky wit. "Manson and I got into a ritual of drinking absinthe before gigs and it'd get messy. He'd come in and pour me a triple measure and then pour a single for himslef and I'd be like 'Oi, Satan, what's the matter, can't you take your booze?'. There's a scoop for Kerrang!, 'Satan can't take his alcohol!'."

Spoken to Satan recently have you?

"No, not for a while", Brian shrugs. "But I did send him some roses when he broke his ankle!"

Thanks again to: Mr Pogo.

A Perfect Circle Chats About NIN & Manson in a Video Interview

Featured on NME.com, in a video interview with a Perfect Circle, minus Maynard and Paz, they talk about the Danny Lohner remix of Judith and how he stayed up for two days straight working on it. A question also pertains to Marilyn Manson and the band is divided about their opinion on him until Billy mentions how he thinks he's intelligent and is important for what he has to say. Also the interview includes various other Trent Reznor, Marilyn Manson, Danny Lohner and Nine Inch Nails references. The interview is 35 minutes long and encompasses a wide variation of topics. It's really insightful to see why NIN chose to tour with them as the band seem really friendly, funny and cool.

Hyperactive Online Reports Trent Agreed To Score Doom

Hyperactive.com.au, an Australian game site, reports that it's been supposedly confirmed that Trent Reznor will be composing the upcoming Doom sequel. Although Trent has yet to specifically agree, with things still in the planing stages. Trent has only mentioned what he would like to do with the project if he were given the opportunity. Below is their online game report:

Nine Inch Nails musician, Trent Renzor, has confirmed that he has spoken to John Carmack of Id Software about composing for the upcoming Doom sequel.

Renzor went on to say: " I would do something like that mainly because it's a hobby of mine, I appreciate the technology, and it's fun to work outside Nine Inch Nails once in a while."

"Quake was fun because they didn't want hard-rock goofy music going through the game," Reznor said, "it was all about atmosphere at the time."

Scary Photos In Amusement Park Changed to Manson's Face

Found in an article in last week's Nyt (Finnish TV and media magazine) is an article about the new features in Linnanmäki (the most popular amusement park in Finland). Thanks to Janne Perttula, she translated some parts of the article for us:

Who's afraid of the longhair?

On the latter part of the spookhouse's ride on Linnanmäki, waits a surprise: dangling spiders and boogie mans have been changed to pictures of longhaired men and concert video of Marilyn Manson.

We asked the spookhouse's stage designer and architect, Kirsti Kavio, what rock concert does in a spookhouse?

"Marilyn Manson represents gothic rock, the same tradition, what's behind spookhouses: 1800s Frankenstainish world and gothic horror", Kasvio explains...

...The train goes through cemetery, dining room, market place and ends up in a park where is Manson's concert.

On the right is a featurd photo from the magazine.

MTV Europe Trent Reznor Interview: Roskilde Festival

We mentioned on July 11th that we would eventually feature the transcript to the Trent Reznor interview MTV Europe aired last week. Thankfully after a little time and hard work, thanks to ZZZombiE, the webmaster of the Russian Marilyn Manson Page, he typed the less than 10 minute interview in 4 hours! "There were a few moments in the interview where Trent or Lars, the host, spoke too fast and said some words I couldn't understand, even after 10 or 20 times rewinding.

In this new interview, Trent chats a bit about the Into The Void video, touring with David Bowie during the Self-Destruction tour, remixing "I'm Afriad of Americans" and chasing Bowie through the streats of New York in the "I'm Afriad of Americans" video....

Manson's "Holy Wood..." To Be Released In October & Tour

Nick, an SLS viewer, attended the club Perversion in Hollywood on July 13th and met John 5 and Ginger Fish enjoying the night. "They were both at the bar getting drinks," he said. So Nick went up to John 5 and asked him what's up with the band. "He said that the new album [Holy Wood (In The Shadow of the Valley of Death)] will be out in October with a tour starting the same month," explained Nick. "When I talked to him at the Anaheim NIN show," Nick mentioned, "John said it was going to be a really big tour with other large bands on the bill."

"John was really cordial," he said. "He was talking to a lot of people and in a good mood. Ginger looked really pissed off and didn't say a thing the whole time I was there."

New David Bowie Single Includes "I'm Afraid of Americans" NIN Remix/Video

The new release singles have been shipped out for a Monday, July 17th release, that is, in the UK. Singles that will be arriving on shelves, is the latest CD single from David Bowie. Allan Theo, who will be putting his store copies on the store front explained, "Bowie's new single to the track 'Seven', "I think its the second CD in the three cd set, contains not only the 'V1' NIN version of 'I'm Afraid of Americans' as the second track, but also the video to the track is included on this two track CD, obviously along with the title track 'Seven'."

Directors For The "I'm Afraid of Americans" Video Speak about Making the Video

Speaking of the "I'm Afraid of Americans" video, the video was aided on channel 4's 'Mirrorball' program on Wednesday, July 12th in the UK. "The program showed a handful of promo's by a different directors each week and this week was Dom & Nic," explained Tim. This video of course features Trent Reznor as a crazy stalker who chases David Bowie through the streets of New York. "The creators Dom & Nic talked a little about working with Trent and described how he became "obsessively into the role" and smashed a taxi cab's window with his bare hand... the directors described this as "pretty cool," said Tim.

Snake River Conspiracy Album Features A Remix by Charlie Clouser

We mentioned yesterday, on our Random Nothing News section, that Charlie Clouser is thanked in the liner notes of the new Snake River Conspiracy cd. Morpheus TechnoPagan, of the The Remix Files, wrote in to explain, "Charlie also mixed and co-produced the track 'Oh Well'. Charlie met Jason Slater (SRC multi instrumentalist) through a mutual friend. Jason wanted to work with Charlie," he explained. "Charlie agreed and asked Jason to send him a half-finished track, 'something he didn't know what to do with,' as Charlie put it," said Morpheus.

"He received the raw track of what became "Oh Well" and treated it exactly as if it would be for a remix work," Morpheus continued. "Jason liked the result directly and decided to put it on SRC's debut album, 'Sonic Jihad!"

Durst Mouths Off to KROCK; Mentions Trent Reznor

SPIN online features snippet quotes from New York's 92.3 K-Rock radio interview with Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. Although Durst says one thing and then another, he did address his love for Nine Inch Nails once more, despite everything he has said in the past.

"Reznor doesn't know me, if he doesn't like me then that's cool with him, that's his choice to do that, but I am a huge fan of Nine Inch Nails...He's a huge influence to me, I think Nine Inch Nails are amazing."

NIN/nothing to leave Interscope Records?

In what may seem like an inevitable move after months open criticism towards the label, rumor has it Trent Reznor is in the midst of separating not only Nothing Records but also Nine Inch Nails from Interscope Records.

Interscope has gone through a number of mergers and buyouts since signing nine inch nails in the early nineties and it is very much a different label now; much more concerned with the Universal appeal of "The Nookie" than a double-disc concept album with no obvious radio singles. Such thinking has reaped the label tremendous financial success, but is hardly a fertile environment for good art.

Although the more experimental bands on Nothing's roster (Autechre, Plaid, Squarepusher, etc) have been marketed and distributed by the smaller Caroline Distribution for a few years now, the label's more popular acts (ie. Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson) have gone through Interscope for support. Check out Matt Johnson of TheThe's article here to find out more about this support.

In more immediate terms it would be reasonable to assume that delay of the upcoming NIN EP is a result of these negotiations.

Thanks a lot to: Kraw.

Chuck Palahniuk, Author of Fight Club, Responds To Trent Reznor Recording the "Survivor" Score

Not much in the means of new information, but rather a follow up. The official Chuck Palahniuk website wrote the author about the backstage meeting he had at the Nine Inch Nails Portland, Oregon show last month. Below is what he had to say about Trent Reznor:

"...About Trent R., it was a shock. Neither of us walked a step from the spot where we first shook hands. We just talked and talked. My friends were a little shocked by how personal we got about ourselves, but it was like meeting a brother my parents never told me I had. He's in Europe, touring in the festivals, but we've made plans to get together later and talk about some ideas.

My only concern is the news about Bill Mechanic, the head of Fox, resigning. I hope that F/C wasn't a coffin nail. News is Murdoch hated the controversy, but his daughter loved the movie. Bill M seems like a cool guy, and his wife Carol had me laughing like a crazy person. Maybe this will put a big development cloud over "Survivor," maybe not. They did seem pretty excited about Trent R doing the scoring. This week, I should hear more."

Please read our June 18th headline "Trent Reznor Hooked Up with Fight Club Author Chuck Palahniuk" for more info.

Explanation Why 'Starsuckers Inc' Not Aired In MTV Europe

ZZZombiE, who lives in Russia, has been curious why he has yet to see the latest video from Nine Inch Nails "Starsuckers, Inc" debut on MTV Europe, although it debuted in Russia and US. So he decided to take his question strait to MTV and received a reply from an online representative.

We can't play it because it contains strobing (white bright flashing lights) which is seen as dangerous for people who watch it and which is illegal to include in your material if you are broadcasting in or from the UK. Sorry - but that is just how it is at the moment...

Johnette Napolitano and Danny Lohner Collaboration

Located on the official Concrete Blonde website, Johnette (singer for Concrete Blonde) writes occasionally to her official website, which she stated that she will be to collaborating with Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails very soon. This is what she had to say, taken from her May 3rd news entry:

Well, it's all been more than worth the wait, as Danny Loner (NIN) and I will finish an entire album together. More details to follow, but I guarantee you everything else will be blown clean out of the water. You have never, ever heard anything like this..ever.

Danny is on tour with NIN right now, so if you've never seen them, you'll never see a better show... I can't remember every being this psyched about anything! (Well, maybe for those few magic moments when Dennis Rodman was a Laker).

Thanks a lot to: Mike.

NIN's Broken EP Influenced Placebo's Latest Single

In a recent video interview on NME.com, Placebo frontman/singer Brian Molko mentioned how the Broken EP was the influence for their new single "Taste In Men". When answering the question, "what is the single about." He said, "we were listening the Broken EP, the song 'wish' and its just like (makes a sort of distortion noise).... Its just the nastiest thing you've ever heard," and he goes on to talk about they tried to recreate the style in the track. Check out the full report here.

Now Trent Reznor's story is featured at ugo.com. The guys at Heavy.com admitted that they're NIN fans, and the episode makes fun of Bob Villa more than Trent, but it has its moments. All The Pigs, All Line Up Fan Video

Matt, who was in search for some Woodstock '94 mpegs of NIN, ran across this page. During an episode of "The List" called "Sexiest Bands" they played an intro mix video of a whole bunch of "sexy" bands. There was a short clip of the 'March Of The Pigs' video, which, when this came up, the background music switched to "The Perfect Drug". "Thought it was interesting to see MOTP on VH1 and hear TPD," said Tweak. "It's also funny that they put NIN in the "Sexiest Bands" list, being that we all know it's technically not a band."

TheThe Versus The Corporate Monster

TheThe's Matt Johnson has written a very detailed rant against corporatism in music. Although it may seem a little confusing, he's broken his discussion into many segments, which should help understand his point of view. Below is a snippet from Matt's message:

MEET THE NEW BOSS

Vivendi have just swallowed Seagrams who took over PolyGram and merged it with Universal who had bought Interscope who'd purchased nothing Records (home to Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and TheThe)

In order to get the green light for the Universal/PolyGram merger, Seagrams promised their shareholders a return on cuts, not profits. They have a huge artist stable raped from three established major labels and two thirds has got to go, bringing it down to a trim, wealthy machine made up of just the plump ripe sellers. Millions of sales are now required to cover the increasing overheads at these labels. Overheads increased through ludicrous executive bonus payouts, inflated expense accounts and the quest for the Porsche. The artist is put to work harder and faster, in order to feed the machine.

In result Matt Johnson will offer, after careful consideration, free downloads of his latest album "NakedSelf" on a song by song/week by week basis from his official site: www.thethe.com.

MTV Europe Airs NIN Performance From Roskilde Festival & Trent Reznor Interview

ZZZombiE caught MTV Europe's "MTV: NEW" show yesterday and Lars Beckung, the host of the show, said that this week will be a special on the Roskilde Festival. "The show comes on Mondays to Thursdays and every day they will be showing interviews with bands and performances from the festival," explained ZZZombiE. The Nine Inch Nails segment came on yesterday, which lasted for about 15 minutes and featured an interview with Trent Reznor as well as NIN's performance of "Head Like A Hole" from the festival. "It was an excellent performance and excellent footage," he said, "very close to the band, filmed on stage." Also they showed videos for "Into The Void" and David Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans". "In the interview they talked about such things as recording the Fragile, filming "Into the Void," searching for new artists, working with David Bowie and more," explained ZZZombiE. Thankfully, ZZZombiE recorded the NIN special and we'll have a transcript of the interview very soon.

72. Down in it (24 Weeks)
101. Sin (23 Weeks)
121. Head Like a Hole (47 Weeks)
138. Into the Void - Import (17 Weeks)
It's also interesting to note that 'March of the Pigs' has the second longest amount of time spent on the chart.

Also, there is a feature on the Canadian charts, which list the Top Singles of the 90's. At number 73 comes in "The Day The World Went Away." Not bad for a chart listing which includes the likes of Ricky Martin, Celine Dion, Britney Spears & the Backstreet Boys. This single comes in as the 8th highest ranked single of 1999.

Thanks a lot to: Stendec 3.

NIN Photos of Forestglade Festival & Trent Reznor Radio Interview

Five photos of NIN's performance at the Forestglade Festival last Saturday, can be found at the venue's website at www.wiesen.at.

"Before the show was broadcasted live on radio fm4," said Babsi, who was listening," they aired an interview with Trent in which he basically spoke about the differences between the stage sets of the European and the us tour and about playing festivals." Babsi continued, "Trent said that those few festival gigs were fun especially, since they got to play a lot of the older stuff." When asked about the whole Manson thing, "he talked about starfuckers," explained Babsi. "He stated that they both 'behaved rather childishly in the past' and that talking to each other again is cool."

News on New NIN EP, the Next Tour, Tapeworm & More

Morpheus TechnoPagan, the webmaster of the Remix Files, received an invitation from Charlie Clouser to see Nine Inch Nails perform live at the "Les Eurockéennes" festival on July 7th and hung out with the band for eight hours!

"The guy was damn cool and I had the opportunity to discuss about NIN's and Charlie's related topics such as the upcoming NIN EP, the next tour, Tapeworm, Page Hamilton, SplatterCell and David Torn, etc....," said Morpheus. "I'd like to let everybody know that these guys are among the most simple, easy-going and generous persons I've met so far (despite the pressure of the show)."

You will find the complete report of his meeting with NIN in the "News" section of "The Remix Files". Next week, Morpheus should receive at least two dozens pictures that Charlie took with his digital camera while Morpheus was backstage.

Thanks to everyone over at the Remix Files for this awesome report!

NIN Press Conference + Info About NIN Lettered Fans Photos

Memorabilia wrote us to explain that she was one of the characters who stacked herself high onto the mountain of NIN lettered fans and a bit about what she learned when her friends chatted with Trent Reznor. "I'm the third from the left on the top," she said, "the second 'n' of 'nine'."

Memorabilia and some of the fans on the right are members of a Nine Inch Nails French club on egroups. "Actually there are 2 clubs," she added, "one that is a kind of forum, the other which is focused on the news." Here is a presentation of the clubs (in French) with 2 links: www.nin.fr.fm.

"We went to Belfort together and wanted to do something special for the occasion, since NIN doesn't play really often here in Europe," she explained. "Then we had the idea of wearing all these t-shirts with one letter of "nine inch nails" each, and our URL in the back..."

Aline, a friend who had a VIP pass, all chatted with the nin.com webmaster, which he took two photos of them in front of the stage and about two hours before the show. "I gave him other pictures we shot in Paris, a "n" T-shirt for him and one for Trent," she said.

On to the news... Aline was able to attend the press conference NIN gave in Belfort, too, and here's what she got out of the conference:

- "Starsuckers, inc." single + a 53 minute CD with the Fragile remixes, including "Metal"
- They'll do a Fragility DVD
- They'll do an acoustic album
- Trent told TRM (the webmaster of "Dissonance") that the band will be back in Europe before the end of the year...
"After the show," Memorabilia said, "some of us could meet the members of the band, including Trent who was looking for something to eat." She didn't meet Trent but TRM explained he was really kind. "When TRM asked Trent to come back so that we (the other members of the club) could meet him too, he told the tour manager, who said they were in a hurry (they had to go to Austria, which is quite far from France) that 'he had time' for his fans," said Memorabilia. "He had already looked at the pictures we gave Rob and appreciated the T-shirt we gave him. Unfortunately he finally could not come back, but we met Charlie and Danny who were really, really kind, too, signed autographs and accepted to be in pictures with us."

"Danny seemed really sorry for the people who went to the Lost Weekend Festival to see them," Memorabilia explained. "I was one of those and I felt so much pain when I arrived at the London Arena and saw NIN had cancelled the show." Jerome Dillon, the Nine Inch Nails drummer, posted a letter on the official NIN message board and explained what he was sick with and why he couldn't perform:

...to everyone on the boards for their concern about my illness..... I tried to ignore a stomach virus that eventually kicked my ass. Unfortunately, the show in London was cancelled and we all still feel shitty about it- but there was no alternative. My apologies to anyone/everyone who traveled to see the show and/or refunded their tickets... Jerome.
"The tour manager gave us news from Trent really often," said Memorabilia, "but he was quite busy. He finally led us to the NIN tour bus, and Trent went outside with his mobile phone." Trent was calling an Austrian radio station and made them shout on the phone. "After that," she added, "he got back on the bus to finish the interview and we saw them leave."

"I want to thank Aline for talking to Rob about us," mentioned Memorabilia, "TRM to have called me when he met Trent. Thanks a lot to the tour manager, who came to see us really often to give us some news. To Rob for putting the photo on the official website and for his kindness, too, and of course to the band, who gave a great show and really seemed to care about us. I'm proud to be a NIN fan, I really love you guys and hope you will be back really soon!"

Spanish Marilyn Manson Interview Translated

We reported earlier this week that Marilyn Manson was interviewed by the Mexican radio station, RadioActivo 98.5, which they chatted about his new album Holy Wood (In The Shadow of the Valley of Death). Although the online interview was featured in Spanish, we had the short interview translated into English thanks to the help of Rebis.

The artist known as Marilyn Manson sits down in front of the 120 channels console, gives instructions to his producer, puts on a pair of Jackie O' Nasis glasses, crosses his legs, puts a glass of Coke on the floor and then he plays a DAT sound player that is inside the studio; then we heard the first of the six songs that Manson will show to the music press, songs of an album that will be called Holy Wood and that will be launched with a book and maybe a movie. The company executives ask us to not divulge on the contents of the lyrics, they don't want to start to hype up things since mid-June. There will be more time to let the press rip apart the songs and their lyrics.

The reverend himself will talk about the album to a selected group of international media in a little studio near Santa Monica.

"Anyone can make songs, I just dedicate myself to make chaos," says Manson when he is asked about the artistic donation that Marilyn Manson gives to the music industry. He is siting in a lunch bench and in front of him there are a lot of black chairs, just like the setting of his record company (Interscope/nothing).

Manson is very kind to us and he even makes jokes about some of the answers (pretty rare coming form a guy that sports breasts in an album cover and likes to show his tushie); he speaks and moves his left hand in which he is carrying a glass of coke.

"The title of the album is a reference to the movie Santa Sangre by Alejandro Jodorowsky, I admire a lot of his work. It will close a trilogy that began with ACSS and followed with MA. It was supposed to come out with a book and a movie by Jodorowsky, but don't worry, the project is not canceled yet".

"In Holy Wood I am still exploring some topics like the American family of our times and the analogy between the JFK murder and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ."

Manson is dressed in black and is wearing some big shoes that maybe were a gift from Gene Simmons, but maybe he bought them with his own money.

"I have never competed with other bands, I just do what I want to do. With this album I have achieved a more stylish platform. I don't get mad if other bands do what i do. I have given them a 2 year break and now I am back to show them how it's done and also to give them a real reason to hate me because this album will give them a lot of ammo to shoot me with and I like that."

"When the people see the book that is going to be released after the album they will go back to ACSS and MA and will realize about the relation of the lyrics and the story of the 3 Albums."

From this point on we could talk about the six song we heard, we would say that 3 of them are going to be some big radio hits and that they have words like "fuck", "cock", "dicks", "sucks" but we won't talk about it. Maybe in another occasion.

Marilyn Manson Cameo Appearance In Eminem Video: the Way I Am

According to the official Marilyn Manson website, Manson took some time off from adding his final touches to his latest record "Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)" for a cameo appearance in an upcoming video from Eminem. Hop on over to the official news portion of the site to read what Manson had to say about Eminem and his idea about free speech.

Found over on the news section of the official Eminem website. The video Marilyn Manson makes his cameo, will be for the song 'the Way I Am' in which he mentions Manson is a scapegoat for Columbine followed by the line: '...where were the parents at?'

Marilyn Manson Talks About Holy Wood... With RadioActivo 98.5

The Mexican radio station, RadioActivo 98.5, interviewed Marilyn Manson and chatted about his new album Holy Wood (In The Shadow of the Valley of Death). The reporter mentioned that he heard 6 songs from the new album, but he can't tell us anything about the lyrics because the executives don't want to scandalize all the fans. But he said that the lyrics contain the same topics like Religion, American Family and Drugs.

Below are a few snippets, which we translated using Altavista's Bablefish. Please note these snippets were not translated into perfect English, but at least it's the best we could do.

"The title of the album is a reference to the ALejandro Jodorowsky movie "Santa Sangre", I admire his work very much. It will be a record that will bring to an end the trilogy that began with "Antichrist Superstar and continued with "Mechanical Animals". Originally it was planned to be released together with a book and "largometraje" directed by Jodorowsky, nevertheless the project is not completely closed to everything."

"In Holy Wood I continued the exploration of the themes that I have covered previously such as the North American family of our times and the existing parallelism between the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ."

"I have never competed with other bands, I only do what pleases me. With this album I have reached a distinct, more sophisticated platform. It doesn't bother me that other bands might be doing the same as I am. I have given everyone a rest of two years, I have become a pariah and now I have returned to remind everyone who does it the best and also to give them a truthful reason for which to hate me because this record is going to give them sufficient reasons to to shoot at me and that pleases me."

Check out the entire Spanish interview here.

Thanks a lot to: Ben.

Two Charlie Clouser Interviews From CitySearch.com & Rock n' Roll Reporter On-line

It seems we missed two important Charlie Clouser interviews during the Fragility v2.0 tour last May. So to catch everyone up to speed, the first Clouser interview is brought to us by the Dallas Morning News, WFAA-TV and CitySearch.com. Interviewed from a New York tour stop, Clouser chatted with interviewer Thor Christensen about the Starsuckers, Inc. video, Marilyn Manson, Fragile sales and the Fragility tour.

Below is a snippet from the first interview:

Nine Inch Nails has always been about not endorsing things that aren't strongly held beliefs ... and that's what [the video] is poking fun at,'' says longtime Nails keyboardist Charlie Clouser.

The grain of truth behind accusing whoever of being star ... [expletive] is that these people are slinging their songs into whatever Godzilla movie is out this week because they're getting a good ... [paycheck], not because their music has anything to do with the movies.

Following the interview with Charlie Clouser is a brief interview with A Perfect Circle's guitarist Billy Howerdel about writing the lyrics to APC's debut album "Mer De Noms," which came out Tuesday, May 23rd.

The second interview, brought to us by the "Rock n' Roll Reporter On-line" website, Clouser chatted about the making of "The Fragile" and the "Fragility tour" from his Los Angeles hotel room last May.

Below is a snippet from the second interview:

It can be frustrating to go down blind alleys at times, but you don't know if it's a blind alley until you get to the end. I mean, "Somewhat Damaged" had an entirely different end section. It was done for over a year, and then one day Trent said, 'I'm gonna make it better.' We were like, 'No don't touch it, please, it's done.' But sure enough he added a total different energy level to the song."

Clouser said that the decision to make The Fragile into two CDs was inevitable. "We had done a bunch of different test versions of the album, like twenty different versions of trying to make it into one disc. But we'd have to leave out so much stuff that what was left wasn't supported by its surrounding cast members. There were a lot of parts of material that didn't sound right on their own. If we had to drop out all the quieter intro parts the songs wouldn't be introduced as gently."

Available in the "Interviews" section of "The Remix Files," are many more interviews from Charlie since 1995. Check them out...

Thanks a lot to: Morpheus TechnoPagan.

NIN Article in Swiss journal "Le Temps"

The Swiss daily paper "Le Temps" is one of the most serious and read papers in the French part of the country. Yesterday's edition featured an article about NIN with a small interview of Trent Reznor. "Though not really good documented," explained the amoeba, "the article is rather good." The interview focused on the rare NIN concerts in Europe, the situation of Nothing Records and the "industrial movement". Here is a (translated) snippet:

Le Temps: Universal - the firm that owns Interscope - recently refused to distribute much of your label Nothing's artists. How do you react to this?

Trent Reznor: Universal stinks. It's no records company, it's a multinational. They don't care about artists. How can they refuse to distribute Coil or Einstrzende Neubauten, who are major artists of these last decades? It's a shame. That's why Nothing is going to leave Universal.

You can read the entire article here.

Featured on SBS (Australian TV station) Cyann happened to watch a really cool Japanese film, "slightly corny but in a good way," he explained. "During a particularly violent scene my ears pricked up at the sound of a farmiliar song." He instantly recognised it as 'A Warm Place'. The film was called 'True Man.'

Alison Wade of Allstar posted a report covering the Roskilde Festival. In the report, Nine Inch Nails was mentioned briefly:
"Nine Inch Nails, which played a 75-minute set on the Orange Stage, where the Pearl Jam catastrophe happened the next night, had more energy than they had at England's Glastonbury Festival the week before. Wearing ripped T-shirts, combat trousers, and covered in either oil or mud, Trent Reznor and the rest of the band were out to impress their European audience as they hammered through old and new material alike including "March of the Pigs" and "Starfuckers Inc." They were the perfect prelude for Iron Maiden, which was Thursday's headlining act on the Orange Stage."

NIN Lost Weekend Cancellation Details

NME.com features an article about NIN's Lost Weekend festival cancellation and a confirmation with what Jerome Dillon came down with, which cancelled the show and had an estimated 4,000 fans claim their admission fee back.

Below is a blurb from the article:

Almost 4,000 of the estimated 9,000 disappointed ticket holders are believed to have claimed back their £20 admission fee at London Docklands Arena.

A spokesperson for the event said the figures were very close estimates, as final figures were yet to be collated.

Nine Inch Nails cancelled at the eleventh hour, citing illness of drummer Jerome Dillon as the cause. A spokesperson for the band confirmed this morning (June 3) that Dillon had a bout of acute gastro-enteritis, leaving him incapable of playing. Nine Inch Nails had played in Berlin the previous evening and at the tragedy hit Roskilde festival in Denmark on Thursday. Events at Roskilde were not a factor in their decision to pull the plug, said the spokesperson.

Danny Lohner/ Toni Halliday collaboration

Found on the official Curve message board is a post by Tony Halliday about a recent collaboration with Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails:

Date: Wed, Jun 28, 2000, 10:56 PM

Chris: I'm really into Siouxsie aka The Creatures as well. What do you think about them? I think the connection between curve and creatures is that both experienced the cynical side of music industry. Well,...this one goes to Toni: can we expect a new collaboration or a solo-project as well???

Tony Halliday: I have loved the banshee's since I was a young girl, Siouxsie gave her band a very appealing interesting art slant and also fought for a good record deal that gave the band a long term future. I have done 2 recent collaborations, one with Danny Lohner from NIN and one with Jason Novak from Acucrack, both will be released sometime this year. There will be no solo project.

For those who aren't aware, Curve and NIN are buddies and seem to appreciate each other musically and personally. Trent Reznor remixed Curve's "Missing Link" back in the day and he was supposed to remix a song off of "Come Clean," but the label pulled the funding for the album in the whole label merging deal.

Thanks a lot to: Ron12272, jason.

NIN Pulled Out of Lost Weekend Festival Due to Illness

Nine Inch Nails pulled out of the Lost Weekend festival due to an illness by Jerome Dillon. Below is the flyer explanation given out to fans as they entered the arena:

THE LOST WEEKEND

Unfortunately Nine Inch Nails will not be appearing at The Lost Weekend due to an illness of the band's drummer, Jerome Dillon.

Lost Weekend and Nine Inch Nails apologise for this last minute withdrawal and assure you that everything has been tried to keep the band on the show, but Jerome is just too ill to perform.

All other bands advertised for today and tomorrow are still appearing and the Lost Weekend is still definately on with nineteen of the best bands on Planet Rock.

By entering the premises you are deemed to accept the revised line up for today's concert

Anyone not wishing to attend today's concert MUST NOT enter the arena and should obtain a refund from their point of purchase

"Danny Lohner still appeared to play bass on one song for A Perfect Circle," reported Mr Pogo, "and APC's bassist actually used his bass for the entire set!" Ash, who ended up headlining after NIN's cancellation, "dedicated a song to Jerome," he added. "It was a cover Mudhoney's 'Touch Me I'm Sick.'"

We wish Jerome a prompt recovery and a great continuation of the tour...

CDNow Interviewed Trent Reznor

A CDNow contributing writer, Greg Kot, recently sat down with Trent Reznor about the commercial climate and the artist degree of The Fragile. Below is a snippet from the interview:

Nine Inch Nails was an experiment with me in discipline. I realized when I was 23 that I had never really tried anything. Schoolwork came easy to me. I learned to play piano effortlessly. I was coasting. I realized that I was afraid to really, really try something, 100 percent, because I had never reached true failure. I knew I liked music, but I didn't know if whatever I made would be good, so it was easier to not do it. That same fear is what stalled me from working on this record.
Check out the full interview here: The Fragile Side of Nine Inch Nails.

Manson's Leg Collection

Featured on the VH1 roadie report is a mention of Manson's leg collection?

Marilyn Manson is still flying his freak flag. At least that's what the owner of Hollywood's Museum of Death tells Q Online. "He's got plastic legs, metal legs, even glass legs from when they were first made," says J D Healy. "He's been collecting them for some time now. I don't have a clue what he does with them. Just collects them I think." Very insightful.

Thanks a lot to: Josh.
