If you've been lost in
the dark as much as me these past few weeks, then
here's some good news strait from ID Software regarding
the progress to Doom III and Nine Inch Nails' Trent
Reznor's involvement.
A seven minute video
documentary on Doom III, title 'Doom III: The Legacy',
features impressive hi-resolution footage from the
game as well as interviews with Lead Engine Programmer
John Carmack, ID CEO Todd Holldenshed, NIN's Trent
Reznor and many other ID programmers.
It's been said the video
can be downloaded from pretty much every single game
site around, but those who have yet to see the video

"Also there's been lots
of interviews of id guys after the e3 2002 demonstrations
and they have revealed something quite interesting,"
reports NIN fan Jouni Lahtinen. "It seems that Trent
is more than just making the effects and music. If
I understood right he is actually DESIGNING the sound
engine with id. Also, to ease Reznor's work, id has
created special in-game sound editing utility."
