Requiem for A Dream Soundtrack Released Today, See Requiem in A Theater Near You with Our Exclusive Guide

The long awaited soundtrack to one of the most talked about movies of the year "Requiem For A Dream," scored by the mad skills of Clint Mansell of Pop Will Eat Itself fame, was officially released today and so puts a mood on the movie that I personally can't wait to see next month.

Written and Directed by Darren Aronofsky, most notoriously known for the much-acclaimed indie drama feature, PI, which Clint Mansell also scored, takes an extreme look towards life, which "is revolutionary in its use of sound and its surprisingly coherent editing which incorporates over two thousand shots into an hour and forty minute film," said a reader about his review of the movie.

So now with all this talk, you've been wondering when this movie will playing at a theater near you? Well, you're in luck! We were hooked up last week, which I've finally had the time to sit down and incorporate into SLS News, a complete two-page document of every city, state and theater the movie will be shown in until 2001.

Much obliged by the generosity of Artisan entertainment, you can verify when this Oscar winning performance film debuts at a theater near you. According to FkFrankie3, CNN discussed over the weekend that Requiem was in talk to be released nation wide unrated and uncensored. So try and take advantage of this film, as showings become available.

Be sure to also pick up the soundtrack when you're in town; for it's highly recommended! We would have featured an exclusive review of the soundtrack earlier this month, but complications came about and had to settle with the unfortunate. Just as always, it was definitely worth the wait!

Completely compiled using the latest Flash technology, the unique, yet official site for Requiem For A Dream, which we've chosen as "Featured Site of the Month" for October by the way, is most likely beyond anything you've seen in a website. I guarentee this site to surely take you on a long lasting trip. Enjoy!

For more information about the reviews the movie has been receiving from the fans, please see our "Requiem For A Dream Theater Reviews, Preorder The Soundtrack!!" headline for a more detailed look.
