Nine Inch Nails' Josh Freese Joins Sublime With Rome

January 3, 2012

Formed in 2009 by former Sublime members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson along with singer Rome Ramirez, Sublime with Rome released their first album, "Yours Truly," earlier this year and have spent much of the past two years on tour. The band's catalog includes Sublime classics as well as original music.

In a December 10 interview with KROQ, Gaugh announced his departure from the band citing the impending birth of his child and wanting to spend more time with his family as reasons for leaving the band. Wilson mentioned Freese as a possible replacement during the same interview. In a tweet two days later, Freese confirmed that he plans to play live shows with the band as a favor suggesting that he plans to fill in only temporarily rather than joining as a permanent member.

The next scheduled tour date for Sublime with Rome is an appearance at the Smokeout Festival in San Bernardino, California on March 2012.
